We love kids at Shiloh. We work hard to serve families and partner with parents and guardians to teach kids the love of Jesus and help them get a great start on their spiritual walk. In addition to yearly events like Kids Camp, Vacation Bible School, and our Easter Extravaganza, we try to provide thorough theological education to equip kids to serve Christ well.
- Sunday School– Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15 kids will be studying through the Gospel Project curriculum from Lifeway. The goal of this curriculum is to teach kids how the Bible works together as a singular book and not just a bunch of stories. They will learn to recognize themes that repeat throughout the book and see how every bit of it points to Jesus.
- Children’s Choir– Sunday evenings from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Mrs. Becki and Mrs. Shelly teach the kids how to worship God in spirit and truth. Part of the class time is spent working through a spiritual disciplines curriculum for kids.
- Wednesday Missions– Wednesday Nights from 6:30 PM – 7:45 PM the kids will be with Mrs. Mary Sue as she teaches them about missions and how God calls regular people- maybe even one of them- to tell people about Jesus all around the world.
In order to do this, we recognize the importance of creating a safe space for our families. While we recognize you cannot “policy away” the sin and evil people in the world, we have created some policies to help protect our most vulnerable so that we can show them the love of Christ. Every person who serves in any type of leadership has to submit to a criminal history background check, fill out an application, and share with the pastoral staff about their desire to serve.
